Synthetic Organic Chemistry; Total Synthesis; Organic Synthetic Method Development; Bioorganic Synthesis using enzymes, especially lipase; Synthesis of various classes of lipids (triacylglycerols, ether lipids and phospholipids) comprising high levels of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids such as EPA and DHA; Chemoenzymatic synthesis of structured lipids; Kinetic resolution of enantiomers of chiral glycerol derivatives using lipase; Kinetic resolution of fatty acids involving concentration of EPA and/or DHA from fish oil using lipase; Specialized lipids and lipid preparations for halibut and fish aquaculture.
